September 13, 2025: Abingdon, VA 24210 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) and the visiting Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA), observed Abingdon's volleyball team top Grundy by a count of 2-0.
The Falcons (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
Next, the Golden Wave meet the Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Grundy will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
