September 13, 2025: Laurel, MS 39443 West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Jones upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Terry (Terry, MS) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
Next, the Golden Tornadoes meet the Brookhaven Panthers (Brookhaven, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Laurel will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Lawrence County (Monticello, MS).
