Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Allentown Central Catholic nudges Scranton Prep
September 13, 2025: Allentown, PA 18102 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Allentown Central Catholic Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Scranton Prep Cavaliers.
The Vikings (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA). The Mountaineers enter the Eastern Penn outing with a 2-3 record.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division I outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Scranton Prep will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA).
