West Virginia High School Soccer - Weir toppled by Beaver Local
September 13, 2025: Weirton, WV 26062 Beaver Local Beavers (Lisbon, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV), 7-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Beaver Local advances its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Beavers host Brooke (Wellsburg, WV) to play the Bruins in a Two Rivers bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Brooke won 6-0 in their recent league bout against Edison (Richmond, OH)
With the loss, Weir moves to 4-6 on the year. The Red riders travel to Cambridge (Cambridge, OH) to play the Bobcats in a Ohio Valley (OVAC) bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 0-6.
