North Penn Knights (Lansdale, PA) boosters went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA), 1-0 in a non-league outing.

The Knights (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bensalem (Bensalem, PA). The Fighting Owls go into the non-league outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Bensalem was edged by Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA), 5-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bears confront the Perkiomen Valley Vikings (Collegeville, PA) in a Pioneer outing, on Monday, September 15. Boyertown will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 1-0 league win over Methacton (Norristown, PA).
