September 13, 2025: Wellington, CO 80549 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Conifer Lobos (Conifer, CO) and the host Wellington Eagles (Wellington, CO), saw Conifer's soccer squad triumph over Wellington by a count of 6-0.
The Lobos (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO). The Eagles come into the 4A/3A Jefferson County match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Dakota Ridge nipped Sierra (Colorado Springs, CO), 4-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Estes Park for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 16. Wellington will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Nederland (Nederland, CO). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-4.
