New York High School Soccer - Greene knocks off Dryden
September 13, 2025: Dryden, NY 13053 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Greene Trojans soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Dryden Lions.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Cayuga (Poplar Ridge, NY). The Chiefs go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Southern Cayuga got by Moravia (Moravia, NY), 9-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Lions play the Union Springs Wolves (Union Springs, NY) in a Interscholastic Athletic Conference (IAC) game, on Tuesday, September 16. Dryden will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Whitney Point (Whitney Point, NY).
