New York High School Soccer - Gloversville toppled by Ichabod Crane
September 13, 2025: Valatie, NY 12184 Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Gloversville Huskies/Dragons (Gloversville, NY), 14-0 in a non-league test.
The Riders (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Schalmont (Schenectady, NY). The Sabres go into the Colonial Council outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Schalmont prevailed over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Huskies/Dragons confront the Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY) in a Foothills Council- North outing, on Wednesday, September 17. Gloversville will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Rams go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 4-3 league loss to Queensbury (Queensbury, NY).
