September 13, 2025: New Brighton, MN 55112 Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hopkins moves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Royals travel to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to confront the Knights in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 17. The Knights enter the outing with a record of 2-5. St. Michael-Albertville won 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against Elk River (Elk River, MN)
Next up, the Knights confront the Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Irondale will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Royals come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN).
