September 13, 2025: Spring Green, WI 53588 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the River Valley Blackhawks (Spring Green, WI) and the visiting Nekoosa Papermakers (Nekoosa, WI), saw River Valley's soccer team knock off Nekoosa by a final score of 3-0.
With the triumph, River Valley moves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Sparta (Sparta, WI) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-3. Sparta lost 4-1 in their recent league test against West Salem (West Salem, WI)
The Papermakers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wisconsin Dells for a South Central test on Tuesday, September 16. Nekoosa will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Edgewood (Madison, WI). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-2.
