Oklahoma High School Softball - Preston bounces Beggs
September 13, 2025: Beggs, OK 74421 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) and the host Beggs Demons (Beggs, OK), observed Preston's softball team notch a victory over Beggs by a final score of 12-2.
The Pirates (14-5) will now prepare for their game against Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK). The Buccaneers enter the 2A game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Tonkawa was routed by Blackwell (Blackwell, OK), 10-8, in a non-league game.
The Demons now hold a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Chandler for a 3A game on Tuesday, September 16. Beggs will battle a Lions team coming off a 11-1 league win over Sperry (Sperry, OK). The Lions record now stands at 19-2.
