The Albia Blue Demons edged the visiting Interstate 35 Roadrunners volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Blue Demons face the Chariton Chargers (Chariton, IA) in a South Central game, on Tuesday, September 16. Albia will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 8-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA).
