Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) and the visiting Alexandria-Monroe Tigers (Alexandria, IN), saw Columbus East's volleyball squad nudge Alexandria-Monroe by a score of 2-1.

With the victory, Columbus East moves its record to 10-11 on the year. The Olympians travel to Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN) to battle the Royals in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. The Royals enter the contest with a record of 14-3. Eastern Hancock lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Wapahani (Selma, IN)

The Tigers now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13.
