California High School Volleyball - Dougherty Valley tips Aptos
September 13, 2025: Aptos, CA 95003 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) and the host Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA), observed Dougherty Valley's volleyball team hold off Aptos by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Monte Vista (Danville, CA). The Mustangs enter the East Bay contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Monte Vista was tipped by Carlmont (Belmont, CA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mariners encounter the Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA) in a Santa Cruz Coast battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Aptos will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons go into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA).
