The Asheville Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Chase Trojans to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Henderson for a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. Asheville will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-9.
