Michigan High School Volleyball - Bad Axe tips Clare
September 13, 2025: Clare, MI 48617 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI) and the host Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI), observed Bad Axe's volleyball team hold off Clare by a count of 2-1.
The Hatchets (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cass City (Cass City, MI). The Red Hawks enter the Greater Thumb - West contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Cass City got by Reese (Reese, MI), 3-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Pioneers meet the Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) in a Jack Pine battle, on Wednesday, September 17. Clare will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Bluejays go into the battle with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Beaverton (Beaverton, MI).
