September 13, 2025: Mountain City, TN 37683 Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Battle Creek Grizzlies (Spring Hill, TN), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Johnson County advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Bell County (Pineville, KY) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 7-3. Bell County won 3-0 in their recent league test against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY)
The Grizzlies now have a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to Central Magnet for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Battle Creek will play a team coming off a 3-0 league win over Spring Hill (Columbia, TN). The record now stands at 7-2.
