In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Olathe West Owls.

The Timberwolves (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, KS). The Huskies go into the Eastern Kansas test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Blue Valley Northwest went down by Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Owls play the Olathe East Hawks (Olathe, KS) in a Sunflower challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Olathe West will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS).
