September 13, 2025: Murray, KY 42071 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) and the host Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY), observed Corbin's volleyball squad notch a victory over Calloway County by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Corbin improves its record to 14-7 on the season. The Redhounds travel to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY) to encounter the Yellow Jackets in a District 50 battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Yellow Jackets go into the battle with a record of 9-9. Williamsburg lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY)
The Lakers now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayfield for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Calloway County will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-2.
