Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA), observed Hickory's volleyball team top Cape Henry Collegiate by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Hickory improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Southeastern test on Saturday, September 13. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-2. King's Fork lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)

The Dolphins now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peninsula Catholic for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 17. Cape Henry Collegiate will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
