September 13, 2025: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA) followers went home happy Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad triumph over the host Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA), 2-0 in a non-league game.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Brooke Point Black Hawks (Stafford, VA) in a Commonwealth game, on Tuesday, September 16. Massaponax will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Black Hawks come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Stafford (Falmouth, VA).
With the loss, Cape Henry Collegiate drops to 7-4 on the campaign. The Dolphins travel to Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 17. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Peninsula Catholic lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)
