The Cheraw Wolverines topped the visiting Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Wolverines confront the Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 16. Cheraw will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Granada (Granada, CO).

The Thunderbirds (3-7) will now prepare for their game against La Veta (La Veta, CO). The Redhawks go into the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, La Veta was topped by Primero (Weston, CO), 3-1, in a league outing.
