Virginia High School Volleyball - Preston over Churchland

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Preston Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Churchland Truckers.

The Knights (7-15) will now prepare for their test against Veritas School (Richmond, VA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Veritas School gained a win over St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Truckers now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tallwood for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Churchland will confront a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.
