In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Clay Center Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Valley Heights Mustangs.

The Tigers (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Blues come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Washburn Rural beat Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Riley County Falcons (Riley, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Valley Heights will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Rossville (Rossville, KS).
