Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS) and the host Golden Plains Bulldogs (Rexford, KS), saw Decatur Community's volleyball squad notch a victory over Golden Plains by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Decatur Community moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Red Devils travel to St. Francis (St. Francis, KS) to meet the Indians in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 2-7. St. Francis lost 2-0 in their recent league contest against Rawlins County (Atwood, KS)

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks (Grainfield, KS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 13. Golden Plains will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Thunderhawks go into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Quinter (Quinter, KS).
