Mississippi High School Volleyball - East Central can't hold off Millry

In Saturday's non-league match, the Millry Wildcats (Millry, AL) volleyball squad tipped the host East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Mary G. Montgomery Vikings (Semmes, AL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 13. Millry will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 3-12 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Theodore (Theodore, AL).

With the loss, East Central drops to 13-16 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Purvis (Purvis, MS) to clash with the Tornadoes in a Class 5A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, September 16.
