September 13, 2025: Edgewood, IA 52042 Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Jefferson Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Edgewood-Colesburg improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host North Linn (Troy Mills, IA) to meet the Lynx in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Lynx come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. North Linn lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA)
Next, the Hawks meet the Iowa City Little Hawks (Iowa City, IA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record.
