Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) and the visiting Notre Dame Academy Eagles (Toledo, OH), observed Frederick Douglass's volleyball team top Notre Dame Academy by a tally of 2-0.

The Broncos (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph Academy (Cleveland, OH). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph Academy beat Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Male Bulldogs (Louisville, KY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Notre Dame Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record.
