Minnesota High School Volleyball - Pine River-Backus tips Greenway
September 13, 2025: Coleraine, MN 55722 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Pine River-Backus Tigers (Pine River, MN) and the host Greenway Raiders (Coleraine, MN), observed Pine River-Backus's volleyball team hold off Greenway by a count of 2-1.
The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Upsala got by Browerville (Browerville, MN), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Raiders battle the Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 13. Greenway will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Gobblers go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Rush City (Rush City, MN).
