Michigan High School Volleyball - Grosse Pointe South tips St. Philip Catholic Central

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers.

The Blue Devils (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainwell (Plainwell, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record.

Next, the Fighting Tigers meet the Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. St. Philip Catholic Central will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 6-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Central (Battle Creek, MI).
