California High School Volleyball - Lone Pine can't get by Highland
September 13, 2025: Lone Pine, CA 93545 Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Scots now have a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Arvin for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. Highland will play a Bears team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Santa Clarita Christian (Canyon Country, CA). The Bears record now stands at 16-7.
With the loss, Lone Pine moves to 5-10 on the season. The Golden eagles travel to Baker (Baker, CA) to face the Braves in a Hi-Lo game on Wednesday, September 17. The Braves go into the game with a record of 8-16. Baker lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Mojave (Mojave, CA)
