In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Model Patriots volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Jackson County Generals.

With the win, Model advances its record to 10-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Bell County (Pineville, KY) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 9-7. Bell County won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Clay County (Manchester, KY)

The Generals now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burgin for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Jackson County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian Academy (Shelbyville, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.
