September 13, 2025: St. Joseph, MO 64505 The Lafayette Fighting Irish volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 0 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Fighting Irish now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cameron for a Class 3 District 16 outing on Monday, September 15. Lafayette will play a Dragons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Versailles (Versailles, MO). The Dragons record now stands at 2-11.
With the loss, Lexington drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Concordia (Concordia, MO) to play the Fighting Orioles in a non-league outing on Monday, September 15. The Fighting Orioles come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Concordia lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Northwest (Hughesville, MO)
