In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Scottsbluff Bearcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Platte Bulldogs.

The Bearcats (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Norfolk went down by Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE), 3-1, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. North Platte will face a Minutemen squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Freeman (Adams, NE). The Minutemen record now stands at 4-8.
