Tennessee High School Soccer - Alcoa knocks off William Blount
September 14, 2021: Alcoa, TN 37701 Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting William Blount Governors (Maryville, TN), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tornadoes face the Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 16. Alcoa will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN).
The Governors now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Farragut for a AAA District 4 challenge on Tuesday, September 21. William Blount will face a Admirals team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Greeneville (Greeneville, TN). The Admirals record now stands at 6-2.
