September 14, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28273 Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 19. Weddington will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).
The Trojans now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Myers Park for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 15. Olympic will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 0-0 non-league Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.
