The Thornwood Thunderbirds topped the visiting Simeon Wolverines volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Thunderbirds now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rich Township for a Southland test on Thursday, September 15.
The Wolverines (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Back of the Yards College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Bobcats enter the Chicago Public Red South test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Back of the Yards College Prep gained a win over Little Village (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
