New York High School Football - New Dorp routed by Erasmus Hall
September 14, 2023: Brooklyn, NY 11226 The New Dorp Central Cougars football team (Staten Island, NY), was ripped 59-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Erasmus Hall Dutchmen (Brooklyn, NY)
The Dutchmen (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison (Brooklyn, NY). The Golden Knights come into the PSAL AAAA challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Madison trounced Curtis (Staten Island, NY), 12-6, in a league challenge.
The Central Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eagle Academy II for a PSAL AAAA challenge on Saturday, September 23. New Dorp will meet a Eagle team coming off a 28-26 league loss to Wagner (Staten Island, NY). The Eagle record now stands at 0-1.
