In Thursday's league game, the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) football team knocked off the host Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA), by a final score of 26-10.

The Parrots (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons come into the East Valley game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Verdugo Hills was dropped by Arleta (Arleta, CA), 14-9, in a league game.

The Vikings now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grant for a East Valley challenge on Friday, September 22. Monroe will meet a Lancers team coming off a 41-14 league loss to North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-5.
