September 14, 2023: Alpharetta, GA 30005 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) and the host Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA), saw Pope's volleyball squad beat Alpharetta by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Pope upgrades its record to 22-3 on the year.
The Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Miller Grove for a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. Alpharetta will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over McNair (Atlanta, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-2.
