September 14, 2023: Montgomery, NY 12549 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) and the visiting Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY), saw Valley Central's volleyball squad beat Wallkill by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Valley Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Vikings host Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next, the Panthers encounter the Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors (Poughkeepsie, NY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Wallkill will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Kingston (Kingston, NY).
