September 14, 2023: Hyannis, MA 02601 Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Dover-Sherborn Raiders (Dover, MA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Hawks confront the Wellesley Raiders (Wellesley, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 18. Barnstable will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Waltham (Waltham, MA).
The Raiders now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Norton for a Tri-Valley challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Dover-Sherborn will confront a Lancers team coming off a 5-2 league win over Millis (Millis, MA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-2.
