North Carolina High School Soccer - Cary Academy knocks off Wilson Christian Academy
September 14, 2023: Cary, NC 27513 Cary Academy Chargers (Cary, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Wilson Christian Academy Chargers (Wilson, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Chargers face the Trinity Academy Tigers (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Cary Academy will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 8-0 league win over Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC).
The Chargers now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty Christian for a NCCSA AA District 3 - East Region challenge on Friday, September 15. Wilson Christian Academy will face a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Southside Christian (Clayton, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-1.
