September 14, 2023: DeKalb, IL 60115 In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Guilford Vikings soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the DeKalb Barbs.
The Vikings (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson (Rockford, IL). The J-Hawks come into the Northern Illinois NIC-10 battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Jefferson was nudged by Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Barbs (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL). The Warriors come into the DuPage Valley battle with a 3-6 record.
