Kansas High School Soccer - Valley Center held off by Emporia
September 14, 2023: Valley Center, KS 67147 In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Emporia Spartans soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Valley Center Hornets.
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Blues come into the Centennial battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Washburn Rural nudged Hayden (Topeka, KS), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Andover Central (Andover, KS). The Jaguars come into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II battle with a 5-1 record.
