Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. Bellefonte will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Chucks come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA).

With the loss, Bishop McCort drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Crushers host Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA) to clash with the Red Devils in a Laurel Highlands 2 match on Tuesday, September 19.
