September 14, 2023: Lamoni, IA 50140 The Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA) volleyball overcame the host Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Mormon Trail upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Saints host Seymour (Seymour, IA) to face the Warriors in a Bluegrass outing on Saturday, September 16. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 9-2. Seymour won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA)
The Demons now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Ayr for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 16. Lamoni will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over East Union (Afton, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-4.
