September 14, 2023: Traverse City, MI 49696 The Traverse City Christian Sabres volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Manistee Chippewas to 1 in the Sabres non-league victory on Thursday.
The Sabres now have a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byron for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Traverse City Christian will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league win over Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
The Chippewas (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Oakridge (Muskegon, MI). The Eagles enter the Western Michigan game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Oakridge dropped by Ludington (Ludington, MI), 3-0, in a league outing.
