September 14, 2024: Philadelphia, PA 19118 Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils (Philadelphia, PA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters (Philadelphia, PA), 40-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Hill School (Pottstown, PA) to play the Rams in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Hill School lost 47-14 in their recent non-league battle against Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA)
The Railsplitters now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Imhotep Charter for a Philadelphia Public - Independence battle on Thursday, September 19. Abraham Lincoln will play a Panthers team coming off a 35-14 non-league loss to East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
