Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX), 34-28 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Bishop McGuinness improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Golden Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Bishop Carroll won 45-6 in their recent league battle against Southeast (Wichita, KS)

The Friars now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rice for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Bishop Lynch will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-14 non-league loss to Eustace (Eustace, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
